Cap Anamur aims to counteract the high maternal mortality raten<\/h5>\n

Bangladesh has a very high maternal mortality rate in childbirth – more than 30,000 women die each year. This is attributed to the relatively poor health care of women and young girls.<\/p>\n

Girls are already neglected in their childhood when it comes to providing food or education. This is because, traditionally, girls and women have a low status in society. Bangladesh also has one of the highest rates of child marriages in the world. It is estimated that in poor families, almost one in five girls is married off before she is 15 years old. Therefore, these girls usually become mothers for the first time at a very early age. Cap Anamur facilitates pregnancy counseling and prenatal treatments<\/h5>\n

Therefore, Cap Anamur has been promoting medical care, especially for the very poor women in Bangladesh, for 14 years. We cooperate with health institutions so that they offer free treatment. This allows us to provide prenatal consultations and prenatal treatments that can prevent complications early in pregnancy.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=”104833″ caption=”yes” media_lightbox=”yes” media_width_use_pixel=”yes” alignment=”center” lbox_caption=”yes” custom_cursor=”light” uncode_shortcode_id=”187705″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”198616″]Our collaborating hospitals provided medical care to 113,182 patients from January 2021 to July 2021. Of these, 55,940 were women and 20,315 were children. Thus, over 1\/3 of all patients are women.<\/p>\n
