Central African Republic

In the Central African Republic, Cap Anamur is expanding the Bossembélé hospital into an interdisciplinary clinic. A team of doctors also provides care for the patients and trains local staff.

The 27-year-old midwife has now been in the Central African Republic for four months for Cap Anamur. Her duties include not only bringing life into the world, but also providing medical care to newborns and mothers. In addition, it provides further training for local employees.

Sarah Schütz tells ZDF Mittagsmagazin how much the work at Cap Anamur Hospital has already influenced her and what experiences she has had so far.
