Cap Anamur / German Emergency Doctors e.V. has been providing humanitarian aid in war and crisis zones around the world for over 40 years. Our focus is on medical care and access to education. In the project countries, we create structures that permanently improve the lives of people in need, for example by building hospitals and schools, training local employees and providing relief supplies and medicines.
Deployment of medical staff in our healthcare facilities
In the countries where we operate, we run medical facilities that we establish and develop together with expatriate and local specialists. To ensure that our projects run smoothly, we need not only medical staff but also active support from tradespeople, logisticians and engineers.
We are looking for committed individuals with a practical mindset who would like to contribute their skills in our project countries to join our staff pool.
We are particularly looking for specialists in the following areas:
- bricklaying
- Carpentry / Joinery
- locksmith’s shop
- electronics
- mechatronics
- automotive mechanics
- Werkstatt / Zimmerei
- Steel and cement construction
- sanitary engineering
- plumbing
Prerequisite for project involvement:
- a minimum age of 25 years
- At least three years of professional experience (after college or apprenticeship)
- solid foreign language skills
- Time for a foreign assignment of six months
- the ability to work independently
- Team-player skills
- Improvisational and organizational skills
