” ÜBER LEBEN” Photo exhibition by Jürgen Escher

For 40 years, the aid organization Cap Anamur has been working where there is great need. For 34 years, Herford photographer Jürgen Escher has accompanied the work of the aid organization.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Cap Anamur, the photographer provides sensitive insights into the emergency relief work of Cap Anamur worldwide in his book and illustrated book “ÜBER LEBEN”. In it, he publishes pictures and reports on Cap Anamur’s work in Bangladesh, Nepal, North Korea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Central African Republic and Sudan.

From 11/18/2021 – 02/06/2022 a selection of these pictures will be on display in the photo exhibition “ÜBER LEBEN” in the Werretalhalle in Löhne.

On November 18, 2021 the opening of the exhibition will take place. From 7 pm we cordially invite all interested parties. Bernd Göken, managing director of Cap Anamur will be present for an opening discussion.

The book “ÜBER LEBEN” with 224 pages as a hard cover in the format 23 x 29 cm in the edition Bildperlen for 29,90 € is also available online. All proceeds will be donated to Cap Anamur.
