Nurse Mirja and doctor Anke worked for Cap Anamur at the hospital in the Nuba Mountains. Both report in the ZDF contribution "Helping in a Crisis Area" about their work and the experiences they made during their time in Sudan.

We recently successfully completed another school construction project in the Central African Republic. In the community of Bossongo Cafe, we built a public school.

Since the end of September, we have recorded an increasing number of measles infections at our Cap Anamur hospital in Sudan. We responded to this development with an immediate vaccination campaign. We have countered the current measles outbreak by isolating those who have contracted the disease.

Since September, face-to-face teaching has again been taking place in schools in Ukraine, where the security situation allows it. However, schools must have a bomb shelter in place in order to resume classes. Therefore, Cap Anamur has set up protective shelters for students in Novoselytsia, in the west of the country.
